Good Night, all. Today is quite exhausting, but Thank God for some lights shining to my work. Hope everything is going well until we reach our goal for the book.

Yeay! Finally, the day was coming. I met the botanic garden assistant to do a little interview. Quite nervous honestly, since Scottish people were talking little faster. Syubidubidu~ Just keep swimming.

"Hi, I'm Ria, the one from Indonesia and made appointment via email with Finulla." That's where I started the talking. So first I need to fill the volunteer form and should been given to Finulla when I began volunteering. There were two days of volunteer in a week, it was Tuesday and Thursaday. Everyday was divided in to two session, morning (9.30 - 12.00 AM), meanwhile the other one was afternoon (13.00 - 15.30 PM). The volunteer were free to choose any day, any session. For safety reason, Finulla strongly suggested me to use safety shoes, the one with metal cap in its edge. Well, that's so easy requirements, I'm impressed ! Even there was no exception for foreigner like me, this garden was open for every one. I'm truly thankful for this chance because not every people in my country can visit UK easily. But there I was, I was in UK, Scotland and got extra lucks to communicate with mostly Glaswegian. That was kind of special honor for me and I promised to remember this experience ever. "See you next week, Finulla!"
Inside The Kibble Palace, one of iconic building in this botanic garden 💚

"Probably this kind of view will be very familiar to me for the next two months" My thought 9 months ago

If I had a wing, I might flying now. What so welcome city in here! I walked home, then told my sister that I need to buy the safety shoes and my decision to take all volunteer session for the next two months. "It's okay. But I think, we can't go for shopping today. I want you to accompany me to campus." Well, I just home and ready to go again.

We arrived at University of Glasgow. It was huge and has a beautiful architecture, cool ! My sister told me that some tourists even visiting Glasgow just for taking picture in this campus, they called it the Hogwarths building. "Wait here okay, I have a meeting with my supervisor. You can try the Hunterian museum, that's good enough or sightseeing at souvenir shop over there. I'll call you after I finished and we'll  heading to Kelvingrove Park and Museum." Aye aye captain !

I took a breath for a while and having a whatsapp calling with my Indonesian friend. I just couldn't stop the euphoria about volunteering in the botanic garden. Beside, enjoying the Sunny sky in Scotland was a bless. Based on my sister story, Glasgow weather was like teenager mood. It could be sunny in the morning but suddenly hard raining in the afternoon. Or else, cloudy all day long with little storm in the following afternoon. But mostly is shower raining.
Strolling on the uni's lawn. So lovable. Thank God the campus was on its holiday season. Left side below was called the bee hive, a famous spot in this campus. If we look at it in detail, its design was remake in Room of Requirement, Harry Potter

This little things is one of my reason  I fall in love in this country. A lot of cute wee wild flowers are easily grow in here
